October 16, 1970Incorporation of the Consulting Engineers Council of Delaware (CEC-DE)
1971CEC-DE joined the Delaware Council of Engineering Societies
July 7, 1972Governor Russell W. Peterson signed House Bill 894 creating the Delaware Association of Professional Engineers (DAPE). CEC-DE was a sponsor of this legislation. Each registered Professional Engineer residing in Delaware has a voice in the regulation of engineering in Delaware
2002Membership voted to change the name from CEC-DE to The American Council of Engineering Companies of Delaware to further strengthen the Organization.
